Michelle became part of the Columbia decorating industry in 2000. She completed the Midlands Technical College’s Decorating and Residential Building Programs, followed by an internship at a recognized local design firm and participated with the Parade of Homes for the past 5 years. She was part of the team that won the “Best Overall Design” from the Critics’ Choice Award at the 2004 Parade of Homes in GreenHill Parish. Shortly thereafter, she founded Interior Creations Resource Center to help her clients and upcoming decorators to access basic resources for decorating.
Michelle believes that all her clients have a unique innate desire to create an aesthetic home or office environment that suits one’s personality. She feels the decorator’s role is to help the client create a room that visualizes the personality of her clients. While providing consultation in decorating, Michelle especially enjoys kitchen designs and improvements. She remarks, “A successful project is when the final outcome has been fulfilled with perfect harmony according to the client’s personal desires”.
