Starting in 2012, the United States will limit the wattage used in regular incandescent bulbs.
In other words your 100 watt bulb can only have 72 watts and the 60 watt will become a 43 watt bulb. By limiting the wattage and lumen output it will encourage Americans to seek alternative light sources. Here is the chart: |
